Lustra Bolsters Sales Team
04/04/2008
Lustra Professional Car Care Products made several recent moves to bolster its sales team. Most notably, Jim Koch was named director of national accounts after spending the last 14 years as a regional sales manager for the company. “Our company’s ability to reach its long-term market share objectives and annual sales revenue goals is impacted significantly by our ability to compete in the national account, large key account, and oil industry arena,” said Doug Marquis, vice president of sales and marketing. “We believe Jim’s experience and capabilities are well suited for this important position, and anticipate positive, exciting new business development in the months and years ahead.” In addition, Lustra named two regional sales managers, promoting Jack Bonow to oversee sales in the North Central United States and hiring Larry Taylor to manage a newly restructured South Central region. Bonow has more than 17 years of carwash industry experience and a background in all aspects of the sales and sales management processes at Lustra, the company said. During his time at Lustra, Bonow has helped grow the company’s market share in all industry segments and implemented effective strategies in the Midwest and Canada, Marquis said. Taylor brings more than 29 years of operations and marketing experience to his position, as well as a background in the carwash and petroleum industries. He retired from Valero Energy Corp. where he helped revitalize the company’s carwash program, Lustra reported. “We believe Larry’s expertise, carwash and oil company experience brings an exciting new perspective to our entire organization,” Marquis said.
