Woman Wins Award for Carwash Photo Series

A carwash customer with an eye for artistry recently won a photography award for a series of images she took from inside her vehicle during a wash, according to a report by the Sunshine Coast Daily. Robyn Hills said she noticed interesting patterns formed on her vehicle’s windshield while the car was being washed, so she decided to chronicle the experience the next time she visited the Caloundra, Australia, carwash.

The resulting series of nine photographs earned her the honor of Photographic Artist of the Year during the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers’ Queensland Professional Photographer of the Year awards.
