Ecolab Launches ‘Beyond Green’ Sustainability Program

The company’s efforts have garnered notoriety and recognition, including being named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies last year by Ethisphere magazine. To earn this distinction, Ecolab’s leadership behavior was compared to other companies in its industry, as well as more than 5,000 companies from around the world, spanning 30 industries. Less than 100 companies received the ethical recognition, Ecolab reported. As the company moves forward with its Blue Coral Beyond Green campaign, it hopes to influence attitudes and behavior toward environmental and ethical business practices throughout the carwash industry. “The bigger question is what can all of us do to create a more sustainable industry,” Lambiase said. “From my perspective, the answer is clear. Be aware, be conscious of the alternatives, and make the right choices. “We know that carwash consumers are looking for better, ‘greener’ options for all their purchase decisions, whether it be the automobile they drive, the coffee that they purchase, or the products used to clean their vehicles,” he continued. “That’s why we’re taking the lead in providing advanced sustainable solutions and merchandising programs that will drive revenue, traffic, interest and sustainable wash awareness.”
