7 Flags Car Wash Offers Toys for Tots Promotion

7 Flags Car Wash locations in Vallejo, Fairfield and Vacaville, Calif., will be official drop-off points for the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program this holiday season. Local residents are encouraged to donate a new toy at any of the three 7 Flags full-service facilities in exchange for a free express exterior carwash. The drive will take place Dec. 1-7. Donated toys should be unwrapped and have a minimum value of $10.

“In this tough economic year, it is especially important for 7 Flags Car Wash and the local community to work together to help those less fortunate during the holiday season,” said Jack Anthony, president of 7 Flags Car Wash. “To that end, we have increased the number of days we are offering free washes in exchange for toys this year allowing greater opportunity for more people to donate.”

The Toys for Tots program each year collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December and distributes them as Christmas gifts to needy children in the local communities where the campaigns are conducted. The program started in 1947.

7 Flags Car Wash is no stranger to community-based promotions. The carwash company recently washed more than 600 vehicles during its Veteran’s Day promotion, and in April offered free exterior washes to hybrid and electric vehicles during an Earth Day promotion.
