Carwash Roof Collapses on Top of Vehicles

A 100-foot section of a concrete canopy fell on top of several cars at Sunset Car Wash in Hollywood, Calif., according to a report by Examiner.com. A fire official said the structure collapsed in “blanket-like” fashion over the unoccupied vehicles below it.

The structure was used to stage cars waiting for a carwash or detailing services, according to news reports. No injuries were reported.
