GinSan Restructures under New Ownership

GinSan Industries has made several personnel moves as the company restructures under new ownership. Sigrid Valk-Feeney, who is part of the new ownership in partnership with a private equity fund, will serve as president.

Valk-Feeney has more than 25 years of operations experience and has been an entrepreneur. She is a graduate of Ferris State University and holds an MBA in international business from the University of Phoenix.

Additional moves include hiring Rick Tuttle as sales manager for the company’s Trusco water treatment division and promoting Doug Empie to distributor account manager. Kerri Vides will head GinSan’s catalog/OEM sales unit.

“GinSan intends to pursue strategic acquisitions within the auto care industry to expand its product offering and create value for its distribution,” company officials said in a press release. “The company will be expanding opportunities outside the industry and increasing its presence in international markets.”

In addition to its Trusco water treatment equipment and GinSan carwash equipment, supplies and services, GinSan Industries serves the self-service carwash industry with ExpressKey cashless payment systems and Industrial Vacuum Systems cleaning systems.
