The International Detailing Association is now seeking members from all segments of the detail industry, including operators, manufacturers, distributors and consultants. The steering committee of detail industry suppliers for the formation of the IDA recently completed all of its legal requirements and registrations to push forward with launching the association.
Those interested in information about the IDA, a copy of its bylaws, or becoming a member should send an e-mail inquiry to the_ida@yahoo.com.
A board of directors will be formed once IDA receives 75 to 100 member requests for nominations, the steering committee announced. The nominating committee will select a final slate of candidates and a vote will be taken among all association members.
The IDA Formation Steering Committee is comprised of charter members: Allbrite Car Care Products, Car Brite, Cyclo Toolmakers Inc., Detail Plus Car Appearance Systems, Ding King, P & S Chemical Sales, Professional Dispensing Systems, RaggTopp, and U.S. Products Inc.
