The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will investigate a choking accident that occurred Sunday at a Massachusetts carwash, according to a report in The Republican. During the incident, Golden Nozzle Car Wash attendant Stephanie Carpluk lost consciousness when her scarf tangled with a spinning scrubber brush.

A customer, John O’Leary, cut her free with a pocket knife and revived her with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

Carpluk was treated for injuries to her neck and face and has been released from the hospital, The Republican reported.
