Ultimate Car Wash and Detailing Center in Antioch, Ill., opened for business last week, according to a report by the Daily Herald. The express exterior carwash features a 100-foot tunnel and offers a four-tiered menu with wash packages ranging from $5 to $12. The facility also features express detail and full detailing options, ranging from $30 to $190.
Owner Blair Martineau is optimistic that business volume will be steady, despite the economy. “We have a lot of things in our favor,” he told the newspaper. “A car is a person’s second biggest investment. And because of the times, people are hanging on to their cars longer and taking better care of them. Keeping them clean is part of that.”
The facility will employ 14 people.
