Harlem and Randolph Car Wash in Forest Park, Ill., played host last week to a film crew shooting a Chevrolet commercial, according to a report by the Forest Park Review. Filming was part of an eight-day shoot in several locations in the Chicago area.
The commercial was for a Chevy model not yet on the market and viewers will see only glimpses of the vehicle’s front end and rear, the article said. The carwash was chosen as a location, in part, because the production company wanted a building that featured the color pink.
"They wanted a carwashing scene," carwash owner Chris Shimkus told the newspaper. "They had their buckets and hoses and a lot of foam."
