Two carwash employees were injured last week when a vehicle being moved from the tunnel to a drying area pinned a female worker against the van she was drying, according to a report by Albany Times Union. The incident occurred at a Super Sonic Car Wash in Albany, N.Y.
The vehicle being moved was a city police cruiser. The report said it was not clear why the worker accelerated the car forward.
The woman who was pinned suffered leg and internal injuries but is expected to recover, the article said. Another employee who was cleaning the inside of the van at the time of the collision cut his head. The driver of the police cruiser was apparently uninjured.
