Units now feature a brushed, stainless-steel finish for easy maintenance, an automatic chemical injection system into the water manifold, three-function operation with the flip of a switch and an easy on/off control switch.
The AutoMat was Detail Plus’ first mat cleaning machine, introduced to the car care industry in 1985. Using absorbent sponge rollers, units can process floor mats in less than 10 seconds.
Manufacturing improvements will enable Detail Plus to offer the AutoMat at a price point lower than previous versions, company officials said.
