Quick Quack Car Wash was ranked as the 612th fastest growing private company in the United States by Inc. magazine. Quick Quack is the first carwash company to be included in the publication’s annual Inc. 5000 list, according to a press release.
“The leaders of the companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression,” said Bob LaPointe, Inc. president. “The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs.”
Quick Quack is a chain of express exterior carwashes in Colorado, Texas and California. The company was founded in 2004 as Splash & Dash Car Wash in Carmichael, Calif., and quickly grew from a single carwash location to 13 facilities in three states, including the acquisition and adoption of the Quick Quack Car Wash brand in 2007.
Quick Quack earned its spot on the list with a three-year growth rate of 489 percent, increasing revenue from $1.5 million in 2006 to $9 million last year, according to Inc. Quick Quack also was ranked 35th on the Consumer Products & Services industry list. Companies included on that list accounted for a combined $26.4 billion in 2009 revenue.
“We are thrilled and honored to be recognized by Inc. magazine along side all of the tremendous companies on this list,” said Jason Johnson, president of Quick Quack Car Wash. “We are passionate about providing our customers with a fast and clean carwash experience. That we have been able to grow in this economically challenging environment is just a testament to an amazing team of employees and our loyal customers.”
