Goo-Goo Car Wash celebrated the grand opening of an express location in Americus, Ga., this month with free carwashes and a fundraiser for Sumter County schools, according to a report by the Americus Times-Recorder.

Although the facility offered free carwashes during the event, customers were asked to make donations to the Americus High School Singers. The group entertained customers during the promotion with ensemble and full group performances.

“It is quite important that Goo-Goo Express Car Wash mesh with the existing leadership of a new location,” Jack Ginter, Goo-Goo’s vice president of development, told the newspaper. “We sought a local group of students to benefit on this first weekend of operation in Americus. The Americus High Singers were highly recommended to us.”
