Ol’ Miner Car Wash in Park City, Utah, has added fast lube services and light auto repair from Mercer Automotive, according to a report by the Park Record. Disruptive road construction and seasonal carwash business made adding the new services necessary. The business is now called Ol' Miner Auto Center.
Owner Mark J. Fischer converted two carwash bays and partnered with Valvoline in order to launch the new fast lube service structure, which are offered under the Valvoline Express Care name.
New services include oil-change options, tire rotation, air filters, transmission service and several other preventive maintenance offerings. In addition, Mercer Automotive will soon begin offering light repair services and state inspections in a space behind the carwash in a cooperative agreement with Fischer, the article said.
